Welcome to Uvelia. By using this site you agree to these terms. They're written plainly because everyone benefits from that.
1. What Uvelia is
Uvelia is a collection of free web-based tools (currently focused on PDF manipulation). All file processing happens in your browser. We never see, store, or have access to the files you process.
2. You can use it
You may use Uvelia for personal and commercial purposes, free of charge. Pro tier subscribers receive the same tools without ads.
3. What we expect from you
- Don't use Uvelia for anything illegal under the laws of your country.
- Don't try to attack, scrape, or overload the service.
- You're responsible for the content you process — we have no way to inspect it.
- Don't use Uvelia's signature tool to commit forgery or fraud.
4. Accounts
You can use most tools without an account. Creating an account lets you subscribe to the newsletter and upgrade to Pro. You can delete your account at any time from the Account page.
5. Pro subscription
- Pro raises the file size cap from 50 MB to 500 MB, removes the 5-file batch limit, and turns off ads. Every tool is available on Free; Pro just lifts the friction.
- Billed monthly or yearly through Stripe.
- Cancel anytime — you keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for.
- No refunds for partial billing periods.
- Prices may change with at least 30 days notice. Existing subscriptions keep their original price until they renew.
6. Ads
We display ads from Google AdSense to support the free service. Ads are not personalized using data we collect on Uvelia — Google may use their own data based on your settings.
7. No warranty
Uvelia is provided “as is.” We don't guarantee that every PDF will process correctly, that the service will always be available, or that the output will fit any particular purpose. Back up your files before processing them. We're not liable for damages arising from use of the service.
8. Termination
We can suspend or terminate your account if you abuse the service (e.g., mass automated requests, attempted denial-of-service, etc).
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms occasionally. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent change. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
